scratches

Does anyone know of a way to remove (at least partially) scratches from an acrylic aquarium without having to dismantle it? I wiped off some coralline algae using a minimally abrasive sponge but it scratched anyway.

Micro mesh will be your friend. Start with 8000 grit and see what it does. Only go as coarse as you have to. Treat your tank like the paint of your favorite dream car any you'll be fine. Get the kit that has foam on the inside, and has micro mesh on the 2 sides. Good luck, Jason
