what is the the difference between MARINE BUFFER and REEF BUFFER?

Reef buffer by seachem is designed to raise ph to 8.3 and build alklinity. Reef builder by seachem just raises alkilinty when ph is not a problem. I dont know how each is different from the other. I think that may be a question best answered by boomer or colin cross. Boomer has his email in his sig. He says he doesnt mind if you ask him questions. I hope this helps as it is all I know how to explain. I sorta understand how it works from reading boomer has posted but there is no way I could explain it. Sorry Steve
