Seafood "concoction" for crabs etc.....

Hello all!!!! Thanks for all the great replies when my tank recently go ick! New subject....I was buying a couple of raw shrimp the other day and got into a discussion with another man who was waiting- who also has a salt tank. He said he mixes several things in a food processor and then freezes flat so as to break off a little at the time. Did not get from the conversation what else he uses other than it is a lesser expensive way of feeding. I have 2 anemones, handful of hermit crabs and a cleaner shrimp. What would ya'll suggest mixing with the shrimp?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!

clams, scallops, mussles, pretty much any shellfish, maybe a nori sheet or two or some spirulina various vitamin supplements. you can create a food that will feed your entire tank. there have been several threads on this subject. i will try and find some links
