Searching for amphipods

Had a recent small cycle happen in my tank not long ago. Everything is fine now but i noticed i have no pods! Anyone know a source to get some from? I use to have tons of them now at night i can't find even one!

Do you have a small colony of zoos or small live rock? Dip in rodi water and see if any come off. I have been looking for the same thing. And freshwater dipped some zoos for nudis and had a bunch of pods come off.

Yea i just did a freshwater dip on a zoa colony i have the other day and NADA! I will try the copepods and see what happens.....Thanks!

If copepods, I seem to have an abundance around here.
Are you going to the PSAS frag swap on Saturday?
If so, I can capture some for you and bring them to the frag swap. Gotta warn you though; they're contaminated with rotifers! :lol:

Rotifers are a tiny critter which I raise and use to feed the clownfish fry/babies. Rotifers are a GOOD critter. Mine are the marine variety from one of the sponsers here on Reef Frontiers.

Actually, it's my rotifers which are contaminated with the copepods from dipping the rotifer sieve (a device to capture the rotifers) into the tank.
