Hey everyone I was wondering if I could get some information on sea stars.

Here are some other species I'd like to find out about.

Linckia laevigata (Red Linckia, Blue Linckia, Burgandy, Orange, etc..)
Fromia sp., Fromia milleporella (Marble, Red Formia)
Ophiocoma sp. (Red Brittle) Other species of Brittles?

Any information would be helpful. Now I have little white brittles that are all over my tank at night. Also when I mow (pull out) the hair algae they are nesstled in the clumps. Cute buggers but I'm wondering what the possiblity of sustaining larger speices would be.

I appreicate all the help. Thanks
Brian.

Hey Brian,
It's been a while since you started this thread, but maybe you might still want to know... When I bought Krystee's 55 gallon setup, she said there was a black brittle star in it. I did not see it while removing the live rock, but when I got it home I saw the star fall out into its new tank. I see it now and then. I would venture to say it thrives on the same thing that keeps the tiny brittle stars happy... Hope this helps :)
