September 2010 News Letter
Hello To all,
The beginning of the PSAS 2010-2011 Meetings are just around the corner, and we are looking forward to seeing you all again..
We, the B.O.D. hope you all had a great summer and hope you all are ready to have some fun this year.
The first meeting of the season is coming up quickly.What does this mean? It means our annual Opening season frag swap is the first meeting . This is going to be on Sept. 18th .. I wouldn't miss this one, it will be lots of fun. We will have a BBQ and snacks and food for all. Adam And crystal will have there little fire pit going for kids to roast marshmallows. We will also be cooking hot dogs and Hamburgers. Some of the members are bringing some other foods to eat and drink.. This meeting will be at our Vice Presidents house. Crystal and Adam are opening there doors for all of us to come and trade and sell and buy some corals. So bring your corals and a cooler or box, and be prepared to bring home some new goodies for your reefs.

Also in September Barrier Reef is having a one day BBQ and sale on Sept 11th form 10 am -8 pm They well have lots of fun for the family and of course , LOTS OF stuff on sale with a bunch of Raffles and door prizes. (PSAS 10% discount will not be honored at this sale, everything is already on a BIG discount) Check out there thread on REEFFRONTIERS.COM or there website..
As for the PSAS B.O.D. , For the last few weeks We have been preparing a year of meetings. We have been contacting our loyal sponsors and members.. And welcoming any new ones looking and wanting to sign up..the meetings will be more spread out across western Washington this year. We plan to have at least one meeting on the Key Peninsula , and at least one meeting north of Seattle..
If you are interested in having a meeting at your house PLEASE PM or E-Mail PSAS. Just remember you will be opening your doors to a possible 50+ people... (including some small children) We are trying not to have the meeting in the same place and also to have a tank to look at or talk about at the meetings...
October meeting will be at the "RAIN FOREST CAFE" in Tukwila . Were we will be getting a behind the sceans look at a shark tank and breeding that goes on there ..
November will be a "under tank meeting" we will be doing a lot of DIY stuff like sumps and ATO's.
January will be a "Frag tutorial"
Our Annual BOB MOORE frag swap will be in February again..
There is a MACNA approved speaker already lined up for March , his name is Murry Camp..
April is going to be a DIY reef food..
May will be an Auction, livestock and dry goods.
More info on all of these meeting and more to come as the events get closer...
Also we are skipping the December meeting and adding one in the early summer Due to the holidays so close.
