September Meeting on Testing/chemistry for beginners.

September 2010 meeting will take place on Friday the 10th. As usual it is a Pot luck with hopefully some new interesting topics. We will do a rewind using RHF reef parameters as guidance and goals. We will introduce people how to test accurately. So bring your refractometers, a smile, a pad and paper to take notes as we all learn as a group at Grant's House. A new item has been introduced as Raffle item (could be another reef tank) from a member, he he he. You will have to go to see what it is.

It is a Reef tank with Metal Halide system already set up and established!!!

Ok, it is another Reef Tank donated to club by a Member! The tank has been set up for maybe 5 years. Tickets for this raffle will be 5 dollars each with the more you buy, the better deal on tickets like the past. We will still have the regular raffle with smaller items also. The raffle for Tank will be on the 10th of September!

Talk will be about how to use Test Kits- Salifert and ELOs, RHF guide parameters of natural seawater and Reef Tank Parameters. Bring your Refractometer to test!
Nate will be talking about Reef Calculators.
We may even talk about bringing speakers or MCMAC.
