Hey Kevin, Let me start of by saying thanks for the frags they are doing well. I was just curious where you had the birdsnest at in your tank. Mine Has changed its pink color. It is still pink just lighter, it already has new buds growing off of it. Thanks in advance.

i would like to know too. I heard fr some1, this sps like strong flow. especially center parts of the colony. else, the whole colony will rtn or stn fr the center.

Chris I also have one from Kevin for like 8 mos. now and have it half way up on the reef under 400's. I would say the higher the better under 250's. Kevin had them in the store tanks which are pretty shallow in depth. Mine has a light green tint out towards the tips which I believe from what I've read is what your after. John

Hello Chris,
I have it 16" directly below the center of a 400W halide. High flow is good but I have a colony at home under low flow the last couple of years and it seems to be OK with it. You get thicker branches with higher flow.

Only from the perspective that the coral is more durable and less likely to have branches broken off when fish swim by or you are working in the tank.
