I finally fed my plate!!! It took him like an hour to eat this big chunk of frozen food, but I was able to keep the tang away with those little raspberry cups that the raspberrys come in with and they have holes so it allows flow to come in. How does the plate expell its waste? I heard they move around, but mine hasnt yet, why?

Another question, it seems that my plate is alittle brown, could this be because its still getting used to the environment?

Its possible that it is getting used to its environment.

In general, plate corals/fungias get duller in color, or even lose color as they grow older. Young ones usually are strikingly colored, whereas the same species but an older version is drab.
