So i baought a new set up its a 230 watt HQI 15k, and 2 65 watt acintic, it makes my tank look green, would buying a new bulb make it look better?

New set up as in new for you but used? Any idea of the bulb ages?
You mean 250 watt HQI 15k?

If it makes your tank look green, it is toast.
15K should be pretty blue and very little yellow.

The 2 actinics should also add to the blue and are probably toast.

Its my tank not the bulb. Never mind! lol

I should have looked into it more befor i posted. The HQI bulb is slightly blue, the actinics are really blue. The lights are new.

i think my tank is getting an algea bloom from the new light which is making it look kinda green. It looks better today then it did yesterday.

I over reacted sorry!

Cut way back on the lighting hours until the bloom dies off

I brought a new HQI /T5 light & the HQI is a 10K but it makes my tank really yellow! Personal preference but As soon as I can afford it, I'll buy a reeflux 10K or maybe even a 12K just to put a nice blue tin into the tank, makes things look nicer! IMO
