I'm setting up a Solana 34 this weekend. A local reefer is looking to get rid of a mated pair of clowns, plus an angel and damsel. I realize I won't be able to add them to tank quickly but I may be a able to get the seller to stall. Should I help these fish out or would it be better to wait?

.....Plus, a 34 is too small for almost any angel ...
I've been seeing conflicting info on that subject - thanx. The seller tells me he's been keeping them all in a 30G tank - wonder how they're faring...

I wouldn't put all of those fish in that tank, way too small of a tank. I'd agree with Mike, the 34 isn't large enough for any Angelfish, even a Dwarf Angel.

I also wouldn't "rescue" any of these fish, until your tank is totally cycled and ready for fish. Even then, I'd suggest, maybe the mated pair of clowns, depending on the species. Even in a 34, there are a couple of species of clown fish, that will get too large for that tank. Maroons, for instance, the female can get 6" long, or more!
