Ok so I've been doing some research for black Silicone. And I've gathered a couple of choices. So I've read about RTV103, dap black 3.5oz, ge1 black Silicone. Problem is everything gives the general, Not for prolonged use under water, not food contaminant safe. The general semi toxic warnings. So does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get some good strong black Silicone? Or clear works I guess

Ok grainer is a company supplier. Lol ridiculous I have to create an account to get 1 tube of their product. Amazon here I come.

That's why I told you to get the same stuff at NAPA. Just get the 108 instead. They use it in the automotive industry all the time. I bet there is a NAPA in Vancouver that you don't have to creat an account for.

Josh, Come on now! I fabricate with superior Cell Cast acrylic, and I mix my own cement. In 15 years of building tanks, have never needed to "reseal" or have had one leak. But I work on my 01 Tacoma, and the RTV 108 comes in handy. If you want to stick some stuff togeather, it's a good choice. Best of luck my friend, couldn't resist a little ribbing! Jason

Not sure what the issue is about creating a account.
If I remember right it involved giving them my name and address, which you have to do to place a order.
Then there is also the phone.
I knew amazon sold it, but thought I'd put the cheaper mail order link up.
Anyway, you know what you need and have several places to get it from.

My local NAPA doesn't carry the black, but they will order it.

Jpg- didn't know you did all that. Lol.
Mfinn- problem with it is, I have like a million accounts to some place that I only get one thing, and um super lazy, and didn't wanna do it.

I just got some Locktite Brand Clear silicone for continuous water contact and says it's aquarium safe. I just got a small tube for $4.79 at a Ace Hardware store.
