So let me say this straight up I may need someone to babysit my corals and fish in there tank for a month or two.. this is only a possibility currently because I don't know what to do..

Here is the story.

My dad left my mother last night packed his stuff and left. We currently all lived together including myself my two younger brothers and my girlfriend + my mother. My girlfriend and I choose to stay living with my parents because our income would help pick up the slack from my mother not being employed. Now in the face of these circumstances we may have to get our own apartment. Which is my dilemma.. I have my 36 set up in my room and would need to move it, or get my 50b drilled and start that up.. eitherway I may need someone to babysit for a while. While I assume the man role and try and find a place for everyone in this house to live..

So if anyone can volunteer to house my two fish in there tanks for a while and have someone where to put my few colonies of zoas in I would appreciate it.

Fish are

1x Flasher Wrasse
1x False Male Perc Clown

zoas aren't to big of colonies..

Eitherway if anyone can help drill this tank so I can set it up in my new place or can take care of my critters for a little while I'd be forever in your debt.

Sorry for the baww I'm feeling I'm just worried about my self my family and my fish..

if I shouldn't have posted this on the board Mod's please delete it..

i can hold all your stuff in my tank i dont mind if you dont have anyone closer to you. i can also help you drill the tank

Sorry to hear about your family issues :doubt: I wish you and your family all the best during this trying time. If I lived closer, I'd be more than willing to help out in any way I could. As for the threads location, I personally think it is fine to leave the thread here in general to get the most possible views in order to get you the help you need. I will talk to the other mods and ask them to leave it here as well. We are a pretty tight knit community here where most of the members genuinely love to help out one another as best we can and I think with what you are going through deserves all the attention you can get.

Once again, sorry to hear about what you guys are going through. All the best to you and your family. :)

Sorry to hear about your story. You're pretty far away from me but on a positive note I have been amazed at how willing fellow reefers are to lend a helping hand at a time of need.

I have no doubt you will get the help you need.

Devin, I hope everything works out for the best, for you and your family. It sounds like you're trying to do the responsible thing, to help your family out. I commend you for that! With as many helpful and friendly Reef Frontiers members as there are, near you, I'm sure you'll have no problem finding someone to take care of your tank inhabitants, while you take care of business!

We can help out with the fish and the zoa's. We have a 29g QT running right now that can take them as long as you don;t think it is too small. We will be setting up a new 40 too but that may be a month or two. The 29 is ready now if you need it.

OI have plenty of room too. if you need I have a 50 gallon tank with one baby naso tang and nothing else.!! if you need help We are here for you bro!! CHIN UP all will work out in the end ....

Thanks a lot for the support guys, this was really all out of the blue. So I'm just making sure I have a home for them before I can bring them back home. It's going to be a bit harder to find a place for the dogs :( Thanks a lot. I've got bags and stuff but shouldn't need to take them anywhere for atleast 3 weeks. HOPEFULLY

Just let us know and don't worry about this anymore. They will have a home for as long as you need when you need it. I will PM you our number for whenever you are ready if you decide to use our tank. Always remember... you are doing the right thing no matter how hard it is. You and your family are in our prayers and hearts.

looks like everyone has you covered but I also have plenty of room in my 240 and also in my 29 for the corals the 240 is just fish nothing aggressive well the tansg maybe but thats about all

I feel ya buddy, I had to tear down my reef not to long ago because of money issues with the economy. Was very hard on me and the family. We ended up moving also recently.
In the end good things happened and I am working on a new system again. Things seem to work themselves out in time when we step up and do what is right. I commend you on your task and will keep your family in prayer.
I am not surprised to see people stepping up to the task. Reefers are special people! Good work everyone! :)
