Skimmer for 180

Looking for skimmer recommendations for my new 180 (hopefully delivered soon!)-- will be basically a FOWLR with a few mushrooms and zoos, not a reef tank. (Have a 72 that is evolving into SPS tank) Trying to be frugal, but still get a decent unit. Prefer an in sump so I do not have to do additional plumbing. Anyone familiar with ASM? They seem similar to the Euro Reef but less expensive. Thanks

I really really like ASM. I have one on my tank and on most of my customers tanks. They work very very well.

What kind of fish are you going to be keeping? Any messy eaters? I like mojo's post in this thread: Upgrading Help (look at post #6). Ozone would allow for a less than adequate skimmer, if skimming cost is a concern for your system.
