Skimmer Help!!!

i have an Octopus Nw200 skimmer that has worked fine for as long as i've had it.. it has recently started acting weird. it won't skim anything for a week and then one day it will all of a sudden just overflow!!. i made sure the airline wasn't clogged..(it actually was a little, but i cleared it up and it is still not working at all)... there are tons of bubbles in the chamber, it just isn't producing skimmate!!!.. any ideas????

Might sound obvious.. but has it had a good vinegar bath recently? and any new media/chemicals/dosing to the system?

is there a top off device maintaining constant sump level?
or do you just add water...

and yes a good vinegar bath is an excellent idea.
is this octo 200 modded in any way?

i have a JBJ auto topoff system that tops off with Kalk-water.

did you take the pump apart and check it when you cleaned the venturi?

obstructions, things caught in the needle wheel, calcification.

i took it apart and cleaned everything.. it wasn't very dirty.. its not producing anything still!!!
