Hey guys, I set up a new 29G reef and I'm looking for some recommendations on what skimmer to get, or if I should skip a skimmer. I was looking at the Hydor's up at OBD but wanted to look at some other options. Thanks!

I'm running the Reef Octopus HOB BH-1000 on my 26g :) It's rated for tanks up to 90g. It's very quiet! External pump is what sold me.
Here's what it took out of my tank in less then 24hrs, and I had just done a 5 1/2g WC!

I have an aquatic life mini skimmer 115 that that fits in the first chamber of a 29 gallon biocube. Does a decent job

Octopus is a good brand and the Aquatic Life mini skimmer 115 work well. I also like the Remora hang-on skimmers.

i use the hydor slim skim very quiet and does its job i had 2 of them one on the 34g salona tank i recently sold then one on my 20g frag but upgraded to a tunze reef pack 250.
