Have any of you guys got anything on the bubble king 250 skimmer. Are they any good? Thinking of getting one for my 250 gal tank. With sump and pipework hope it will be closer to 350 gal

i would look at the supermarin 250 or 300 before you look at a 250 int,

the supermarin has a "double cone" design, one on the bubble plate and another in the neck, 500lph more air, 400gph more water processing, also alows you to adjust the amount of water/air the pump processes. slightly smaller and shorter, but a freakin beast and more power than the more expensive 250 deluxe internal model, with a higher tank rating as well.

Been offered a Royal Exclusiv super marine 250 new for $1500. It looks different though. The red tube is just straight and doesn't have the extra compartment at the top. Is this an issue?

if it's a new skimmer, then it probably just has the airline dissapear right into the outlet tube, as the muffler is consealed inside the top of the tube as opposed to being a seperate peice attached to the top

Sorry for the delay. Skimmer has been running 3 months now. Very impressed with it.
