I love my Nano.... except the bad design of the skimmer. You can't lift the lid without knocking off the skimmer cup.
Has anyone tried a different HOB Skimmer? I have read about the Remora, Tunze and Deltec MCE300. I am totally baffled as to which one to get.
The Remora, I like, but I am not sure how the pump will fit into the old skimmer compartment. Tunze has the same problem as the stock skimmer , and the Deltec MCE300 is expensive, and I don't know if it will fit.
I took out the 3 stage chamber and filled the slot with Live Rock rubble, works great, but I am not sure if this is where the Remora pump is supposed to fit.
