skimmers

Hi I have a 180gal reef tank with 2 tangs 4 anthias ,1 trigger blue jaw ,1 rabbit fish 17 corals every thing is doing well I cant get my skimmers to
skim dark skimmate if I turn down I dont get any skimmate. If I turn up
I get watery looking skimmate. I had a beckett skimmer now I have a
bubble king super marine 200 both in sump skimmers any help?

If its new just put the foam head at the bottom of the neck, let it go for a week, clean the cup if it gets dirty. then adjust from there.

I agree...Some skimmers have a break in period. Give it some time
