Snails with white spots...ID help

All three of the snails in my 29 gallon biocube have developed these white spots. I can also find the spots on the heater and a few on the glass that appear to be the same. I'm not sure if this is some sort of breakout or reproduction? Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Looks like a type of Limpet. Most are harmless some are parasitic. Do you have recently cured live rock in the tank?

no those are just the heads of the green star polyp. I've found some more on some of the bigger snails too. They just appeared about a week ago and have been multiplying.

no this rocks has all been in there for about a year. The only new thing is a neon green bulb nem.

I found one on the glass in the front of the tank..it looks like it is mostly white and has yellow in the center. Kinda like a cadbury egg. But I'm sure it doesn't taste as good

I have them too. Also on snails and rocks. never have found out what they are. To me they have always kinda looked like sesame seeds.

+1 to the bedazzler theory. You just need to set them up with some pretty rhinestones...

They are nerite snail eggs - your snails are reproducing on your other snails - its really wierd, I've had it happen to mine before too..

Guess the snails are too slow to run away

Maybe they got tired of me scraping their eggs off the front and side glass? so they decided to take their eggs with them?

Yeah nerites are usually clear with little white dots. These are white with yellow centers. I guess I'll check to see if they hatch or see what happens??
