snails

Just wondering if snails could/would travel down my tank return bulkheads. I havent covered them as i assumed they wouldnt travel against the flow coming out??? What do you guys gals think??

I guess if the flow isn't strong enough, they may. I have snails living in my skimmer that I have to remove everyweek and they enter it against the flow (which in this case isn't much) but they do go in there. Just a thought...

snails get everywhere! Most especially after your tank has matured and they start breeding. Baby snails end up in everything.

Aside from that, I have had a few floods from both turbo and astrea snails getting into the drain pipes and clogging them.
