:eek2: set up over 2 weeks ago, BAS reactor on a 54 bow reef, and after initial silliness involving a)you need a check valve and b) the filmy stuff goes in the tank, not the white stuff---all is well. I'd heard about this supplementation system for years [1 dose, both alk AND cal] but never figured it was so basically easy [insert between your autotopoff and your tank and let evaporation drive it]. My reef is a bit small for a calcium reactor, a bit large for hand-dosing, and this so far is panning out very well. I'm maintaining an 8.4 alk and a 420 cal.

If you fall in that twixt and tween area between a nano and a big tank, this could help.
