I thought I would show a few pics of what I have. Some of you may recognize a few things because I got them from you. It's not as impressive as most of you people's but it's waht I have. :D....the photos that seem kind of blue were taken at night using my sons blue LED headlamp for illumination.....the red one is the same headlamp with the red LED...that bristle worm is only about 3 inches long, but I just saw him for the first time last night....scared the crud out of me

and if that wasn't enough torture...... I have some more stuff but the photos are worse than these...if you can imagine...I've had my camera two years and just today i realized I had a macro setting

Oh by the way check out the difference in the size and shape of the finger sponge in the polyp pic in this post and the one from the first post...it's really growing and branching...I thought it was cool

I Love Your Tank It Looks Cool And Your Pictures Are Great. Everything Looks To Be Healthy. And You Always Seem So Modest When You Talk About Your Tank. I Was Almost Expecting One Lil Rock With A Ton Of Algae Everywhere. But It Looks Great.

Hmmm specs? am I supposed to know something about my tank?

55G all glass
60-80 lbs LR (approx.. I lost track)
SG 1.023
Ammo 0
nitrite 0
nitrate ? (my kit tests it a little high but I had a lfs check it and it wasn't so bad. New sailfert kit is inbound)
CA..uh (see above, kit ran out)
Alk..err (same thing)
CPR bacpac skimmer
powerhead water movement
220w VHO (new as of last night :))
1 yellow tang, 2 blue damsels (first fish), 2 OC clowns
brown and green button polyps, orange, green zoos, xenia, anthelia, cabbage leather, purple/green ricordia, toadstool, condy anenome, snails and hermits

Right now I'm in the process of adding a 10 g glass refugium. I also have a nice acrylic IAP sump and all the cpr overflows and return pumps (mag9)ect, but I have to construct a shelf to hold it all because my stand is lame.....hey I didn't know. I also have to move my tank away from the wall 1" (@#%*) to use the CPR overflow.

I'm realy having fun with this and I owe(blame) any success I've had to all you folks here. I didn't know anything before. I've had freshwater for many years(many years ago). 2 years ago my wife( I mean my kids) bought me a setup for fathers day and I decided to go marine fish. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a reef tank.....Then I saw one, and found this place as well as RC ...oh man It was all over but the crying...that part is still happening. I also want to grow bigger ofcourse...my wife actually wants a 180 ( well me too, but amazingly so does she)

Thanks for all the kind words folks.

snobanker,
please give me the formula for the substance you gave your wife that makes her want a 180. I can use a very large dose of it here in Ohio!

Lol reefaddict, I'm not sure exactly what is, but if I could market it I'd make enough to be able to rival mojoreef's setup :D

I'm Not Sure What It Is Either But My Wife Shares The Same Excitement As I Do. She Becomes The Kid In The Candy Store Sometimes.
