Something growing in my zoas!

Help! I came home today and noticed a bunch of things growing on one of my zoa colonies. They almost look like clear little pineapples I rushed to the computer to look up zoa spiders but luckily it doesn't look like them. I scraped one off with my fingernail, it popped right off.


You can just barely see it(I hope) on the right side of that polyps stalk. Sorry for the quality, took with my phone and had to turn off my LEDs for it to focus.

Is it hard or soft?does it have a shell?

Seemed to be soft, but it was so small I didn't really notice. No shell that I could tell.

That seems to be them! Thanks! From what I've just read, they don't seem to be harmful. I guess I'll just let them hang out then. Thanks a lot for the ID!

Looks like pineapple sponge to me. My friend had them in his tank. :smile:

theres gonna be a lot more of those... they are good... they help clean your water
