Spectacular Discus

So I'm up in Nanaimo B.C. on Vancouver Island and I noticed a fish store I hadn't seen before. A few koi, freshwater, and the most amazing collection of Discus I've seen in a retail shop. If you are ever up in Canada on the Island, and are a fan of Discus, this place is worth stopping by. I believe the owners are Angela and her grown son Rob(?). She spent some time explaining that they breed many of their own discus and import the rest. I saw at least 20 varieties from 1/2" babies up to 6-7". I saw my first Purple Chameleon and Ice White Diamond. The chameleon changes from purple to blue to green depending on how the light hits it. The white was solid white. Really cool. Solid Reds, Marlboro Reds, Snakeskins, wilds, and all the other usuals. Not one dark or sick fish to be seen. Can you tell I was impressed

when i read it, i was like..... what the heck is discus?? (it sounded disgusting :lol: )
but after googleing around, they are really kewl fishes dood .

I always pass the Island by on the way to the bike park (whistler), never thought of going across though.
