I have 2 sponges that are starting to get a lil invasive. One of them is a greenish blue color and grows in a mat with lengths coming off. The other is white and also mats, but has, dont know how to explain them, snowflake shape coming growing outward, but not very long. Ive been pulling them out/keeping it back. But it just comes right back in about a week. I dont want to get rid of it, just keep it from smothering my zoas. Any ideas. Oh. The white one isnt smothering anything, just growing where i dont want it to. The rbta keeps me from putting corals in its path...at the moment.

Any chance to get a pic? I once had something I thought was a sponge that grew like a mat and ended up taking over a lot of my rocks. It was identified as lobophora. Stuff was a nuicance and I ended up have to boil a few rocks to get rid of it.

I also have white sponges that are competing with my zoa and paly matts. Are there any sponge eating nudis out there?
