What would be the best method to take off spray paint on glass? Also too what would be the best roll/brush on paint for glass?

You could try goof off or whatever that crap is called. You want to roll/brush paint on glass? Most of the paint I've seen brushed onto glass has brush strokes in it.

A razor knife should take it right off. I have done it several times.

I have always spray painted the glass and have never tried to roll or brush it on, I would think it would be difficult to get even coverage due to the slickness of the glass not grabbing the paint well (it would push around instead of spread)

You hit the nail right on the head. utility blade....

A latex paint will take several coats to get to cover and take several days to fully harden. Even then, it will scratch off fairly easy.

Thanks for the info gang! I did end up using a razor to scrap the paint.

I would use spray paint to paint the glass again but the tank is already in the house. I don't want to make a mess in the house with the over spray LOL. Also too I don't know if the fumes would be good for my African Grey Parrot even with the windows open. I'll look into the latex paint but I don't like how it would chip off easily. I just might have to use spray paint and cover everything near and around the area I'm painting to prevent any stray paint going everywhere because the misses would not like that:eek:.

I painted the back of mine with a brush and didn't have any issues. You have to do many many coats, but the brush marks don't matter. The brush marks will show up looking at the back (from the back), but they disappear when looking through the front. Imagine a roller would be the simplest for you... just figure it's going to take you a week overall and you should be good.
