Anyone using the SPS 250w 10k bulbs? According to Sanjays site, they get some good par and have nice color.

The 14k #'s aren't that impressive. I'm running 175w Iwasaki 15k's now and they have more PAR than the SPS 250w 14K's. The 10k #'s look alot better, but I'm not sure on the color. Sanjays site list them at 19,337K temp with a magnetic ballast, which seems aweful blue for a 10k bulb.
Where did you order yours from? I don't understand why there is such a big price difference. MarineDepot sells them for $78.99 and ThatFishPlace sells them for $44.17, but TFP doesn't carry the 250w 10k.

Personally, I am running 4 other 400w radiums, I don't much care about PAR. I am not out to create a fast growing situation.

I can understand not worring about PAR with 4 400 watters.
