Stand construction quesion

Ok, so I'm looking into building a sand for a AGA 6' 125gal and was curious. If building the all of the skeleton out of 2x6 (already have a ton that currently has no use) would it be possible to not run a center support leg?

Hey Tom, should be fine if you can double up the 2x6's or add another middle span then crown them all before glue/screw to ply top.

Hey, check out this DIY for my stand. It has no center support, and allows the sump to hang out the back slightly to make plumbing easier. Could easily be modded to 125. VERY solid, overly so really, but I guess a lot of us end up overbuilding. Here ya go, let me know if you have any questions. The key to holding this stand square are the gusset plates in the corners.
