Starphire glass

I have a problem with a scratch to the outside front of my tank. It is 3/4 thick Starphire glass. Does anybody know the best way to remove it? The scratch is about a foot long. May be about 1/128 deep. Luckily it's close to the bottom and the tank is still empty. Can Starphire glass be polished the same way as normal glass?

Try diamond paste. I use it to sharpen chisels on a tempered plate. It removes the scratches from the plate when i gouge it.

it is softer than normal green glass, over time it may even "heal" a little, but polishing it should be pretty easy
