Do you know if a hippo & powder blue tang will get along with each other? We had a blond naso before and I just loved him or her and would love to have another, but I don't want to over load my tank and I REALLY want an Emperior Angelfish and a couple Squarebox Anthia.

What do you guys think?

Oh we have a 120 gallon tank... Sorry I guess that's good information to know.

Do you have other fish in your 120 besides these you mentioned?

I am pretty sure that the PB tang and Hippo are in different families so it should be okay to mix them. If they are about the same size and are added at the same time, it is supposed to make it easier. (Disclaimer: this is what I've read on threads about tangs but I'm not an expert.)

The one downside to these tangs is that both of them are reputed to be "ich magnets."

....I honestly don't think your tank is large enough to keep both of these fish peacefully. Also, the fact that they're very likely to get Ich at some time in their lives, even in the best of conditions, will be made worse by having them in less than ideal conditions.
