I really never introduced myself properly. I kinda just started popping up on boards. My name is Brett and my very soon-to-be wife's name is Rochelle. We live in covington. I've been doing saltwater for about a year, about 6 months of that time has been reef keeping. I guess I just wanted to say hello to all and to say that although I haven't spoken with alot of you, being I'm new to this, the people I have met are very very nice, as are the people who have offered me tips on the message boards. I look forward to joining the PSAS to meet more people with the same interest as my wife and I. Reef Frontiers has been very helpful to me and for that I would like to say thank you.

Welcome Brett!!! Maybe we can meet in your place sometime so we can chat about reef stuff... I live near Valley Medical. Renton.

Sounds good to me Cesar, I've seen some peoples tanks, but there isnt anyone that has seen mine yet.

You could volunteer to host a PSAS meeting, Brett. Then lots of people will see your tank. :D

Sure I'd love to help, I dont think I could host a meeting as my place is very small, but if there is anything else I can help with, Im more than willing.

What's up bud!

It's awesome meeting people from RF. Congrats on you two, and hope your honeymoon lasts forever.

Keep me updated on how those coral frags do.

Hi Brett, I am pretty new here too, and agree 100% with you on the great people I have found here. I live just down the road from you in Auburn.

Also, Brett...

Remember, Paul H. (FRAGMAN) lives in Covington area too.... Great place to check specially his cube and of course FRAGS. (shown below)

Hey Brett,
Welcome to the board and thanks for good deal on the Jebo unit. It looks great on my daughters African tank! Hope to see you at the frag swap!

Welcome Brett!

It varies by what the event is. We can have anywhere from 30 to 100+ at an event. The club has over 300 people registered to receive invitations to the meetings.

It's really not about the numbers though. It's about the quality of the club events and what people take away from them. We're trying to put together an exciting year. If this happens we will see plenty of new faces at the events.

I am in TN, and we have a small club, I was just wondering how big yours was since I might be moving to the area. I'm not judging you based on the size, though having a club with that many members probably has some benefits. I was just curious about how many "regulars" you have who go to meetings.

We have something like 30 members on the registry and maybe half that (or a bit less) who regularly attend meetings. So I was wondering if you guys' club was way bigger since that area is alot larger than Knoxville TN. Ya know?

I guess it depnds on what part of the state you live and which club you belong to? I live in Richland and plan on joing MidColumbias club tomorrow when I go to the meeting. If you live in or around Seattle I bet the club is much larger. There is also a Spokane club I think. This last month we had a Saltwater conference in Richland and folks came from all over and it was awesome. We had an auction, coral give away, lecturers, and a BBQ. Which part of the state you plan on moving to?
