stripped burrfish vs dog face in 55g

ok i made up my mind all this compatability worrying is annoying and took out the thrill of the project.

i love puffers.


dog face max size is said to be 12 inches. usually they do 8-10


stripped burrfish max is 10 inches

either of those possible tank candidates for a 55g???

Couldn't say for sure, but probably not IMO...Ever seen a 12 inch fish try to turn in a 13 inch tank front to back? Not too cool...I had Pacus that had that problem and had to buy a 90 gal to give them more room Just a thought...

Neither of these puffers belong in a 55 gal even solo. Please consider more appropriate species for the tank size you have. There are several "Toby or Saddle" species of puffer that would be far more appropriate.
