Suggest a lens?

I'm really bad at knowing what type of equipment to buy, so I was hoping someone might be able to offer a suggestion as a lense to get. I don't have a true DSLR, but I know there are still lens attachments out there. I'd like to be able to take a bit more detailed macro shots with my Panasonic Lumix FZ50 but I'm really not sure what I would need to get. Can anyone offer a suggestion or two? Thanks!

i'm not sure about that exact camera but many point and shoots have macro attachments that are kinda like magnafine glasses for their lenses, but i really don't know much about that particular camera

Your Panasonic Lumix FZ50 already has a macro mode on it to take pictures close up. You can buy a 55mm Closeup filter to screw onto the lens that will allow you to take macro pictures using the telephoto function.
