OK, I know I am new here, but this might be the best site I have ever been to online regarding tanks. I have been reading for about 24 hours straight and love it very much. My question to you is this. I am in the process of designing a sump and fuge for my tank and would like to show you it so far. Can you please tell me if it looks alright. Thanks for the replys.

Hi Jason and welcome aboard. The concept of your plan looks good, but thier might be a flaw on the drain line. I am not sure of the size of the pipe your using but it looks to be the same from the overflow to both outlets. If this is the case then the refugium drain is probibly going to get all the water and the other side will be starved. You have two choices. One put a Y right at the overflow outlets so it sperates the water equally coming out of it, or reduced the size of the drain to the refugium.

hope it helps

I would put the T like mojo said because you don't want to take a chance on something getting stuck in that ballvalve and then not getting any water in the fuge. IMO
