Hi, I am getting a 72x30x24, 220g tank soon and I have started the plumbing already. However, I would love to see some set up samepls you have if you also have the sump in the basement and the tank in your first floor.

I would love to see how you plan your set up, what kind of parts you use and etc. If you have pics of your set up, please post them, thank you.

Just make sure you "supersize" your pump. It would have to pump about 15' up. Your pressure loss would be something like: (15ft)*(62.4lb/ft3)*(1/144) = 6.5 psi.

It maybe possible to stack smaller pumps in series to help too.

edit: maybe 20-25ft if you have a deep basement. If so 20ft= -8.7psi, 25ft= -10.8psi
