SWC skimmer upgrade!!!

This upgrade was super easy. I purchased a bubbleblaster 3000 along with the adapter and it went together like it was made to. only thing that didn't match up was the height. i had to add a couple pieces of egg crate under the pump to level the two out. but this pump is SOOO much better than the psk-2500 that was on it

yep, the company was really cool about it all. i guess they had it dropped ship straight from his supplier. I got the new pump today, and they even included a return label to ship back the wrong one with no hassle.

I was wondering what this process was, ive heard great things about it.

simple process, pretty much unscrew the stock pump, then screw on the new one. that easy!! i did have to put a small piece of egg crate under the pump.

Hey what kind of skimmer did you use? My SWC is beginning to fail on me. I got the 160 cone skimmer.

i think mine is a swc 250

after 2 years I finally did a deep cleaning with vinegar and it works perfect now. Just going through a break in period again. THanks
