T5 Retro kit

Thoughts on this kit for supplemental lighting? Also how have you people installed these into your canopy?

I just installed my t-5 retros in my hood last week, they were pretty easy (once my sister/mom finally helped me) but you just assemble the pieces, wire them up, then screw the whole assembly into the hood.

If i can offer any advice, get the right screws the first time, i ended up at lowe's 3 times buying 3 sets of screws to mount them... (then again its just another excuse to go to lowe's if you enjoy the store)

that will work for supplement lighting I would go with vho's personally better colors that method not as much par as the t5s but alot better color.

i agree, vho supplement halides better. although, if you just run only t5, you can pick and choose the kelvin rate to what you like
