Well after leaving for a month my tank crashed in a way, all but 3 of the fish died.... after looking around to see what it was and wondering why my skimmer was no longer working I found that the back side of the skimmer pump broke open and leaked oil into my tank =[.

Now I need a replacement for the OTP-3000 skimmer pump or just a whole new skimmer. The skimmer I have is a RO NW200 without the ball valve.

The way I would look at it is, how much to replace vs buying a new skimmer...if not that more to get new skimmer, then new skimmer is what I would do.

I'm with skimmy on this one....btw where have u been? Lol
Mexico huh?
Since u have a skimmer body, why not fork all the $ into the workhorse of the skimmer.
Get a bubble blaster or a dc pump. I think its called a bubble blaster idk.
Hths lol

Thanks for the Idea's guys. It would be $100 for the same pump or I could upgrade. I do not want an external skimmer since I designed my sump around having in internal skimmer.

Skimmy, I looked at that Diablo pump and it looks awesome, but don't really want to put $200 into just a pump.

Devin.... Australia =]
