I'm going to be putting in an in-wall tank, thats at least a 180. Any thoughts on wether acrylic is worth it, or should I stick with glass. Quite frankly I would just love to have a big ole scratch in my wall tank from scraping coralline algae. I know that the lighter weight would be cool though, and I understand the bigger you go the cheaper acrylic is compared to glass.

right now glass is about $9.00 a square foot. I would go with acrylic if i could afford it. besides if you need to drill it you can glass need to be done with special bits that really cost and you stand a chance that it could crack it too. besides you also are dealing with weight of moving it in place. i vote acrylic.
