temperature 80 degrees

the temperature on my fowler tank fluctuates between 79 and 80 degrees. Is this ok what is the optimal temperature for a fowler? i have a 110 gallon tall tank with a glass top on the tank with a canopy over it. should i remove the glass top?? thanks

My oppinion is that your water temp is not bad with temperature above posted.
The second question, it is good idea to remove the glass to allow the gas exchange to happen. CO2 is the main cause of PH fluctuation in a aquarium.

Yes I would certainly remove the glass top for what Ed posted & help with water evaporation which helps keep your tank cool also.
 
I agree as well. I removed mine and wondered why in the world I ever had one on the top!
