I just want to give a big "Thank You" to PSAS and Brian from IAP for the absolutely wonderful day. I know that I was running around crazy like:eek: trying to get to all of you and I just hope you all had a great time and felt that you left with some great stuff!!! Between everyone who traveled here and my local cusotmers we had a record day. Thank you again and hope to see you all again soon.

P.S. I hope everyone that won a raffle prize enjoys them, please let me know what you think about my killer live rock!!! Or better yet post a few pictures after you get it all set up in a tank or get your Superman frag nice and bright.

My bad, I forgot to thank Adelaide too. I asked her sometime ago if she would like to come and I'm glad she did. Thanks again Adelaide, I know the traffic was awful but I hope you enjoyed coming.

I want to write what took place on this day, so people can remember. I want to inform those that were not there. My wife says today is my day with her. So I am on here sneaking...bbl..I promise I will do more, maybe tonight. Sorry for delay..
Ed

You kidding, that guy would never show up for a meeting again.:D

Everyone was hurrying to get into place at Shark Reef. I went inside to see people eyeballing good deals on fish and introverts. Vicki got a really good deal on some elegance corals for her 450. They were monsters!
Clams for 40 dollars, buy one coral and get the second one for half price.
Below are pictures of the elegance corals. They barely fit inside the tank.

Eric and Matt worked as a good team. Yeah the guy with short arms!

The tanks looked awesome. The fish all looked happy! The service was fantastic. How about a Medium Powder Blue Tang for 40 dollars. A beautiful Chevron Tang.

I picked up this deal.

You do not see this everyday. I picked up a two inch ORA Tort for 15 dollars! Well, I better reword that. I had a twenty five dollar gift certificate and 15 dollars. If you look above you can see there were two of them.
Here is the one I got for 15 dollars...and a gift certificate for 25, thats right 40 dollars for a two inch plus frag of Oregon Tort

Brian (IAP owner) discussed the type of glues and how well they work and even showed some gluing technics. He explained the shelf life of glues. Glues that usually haze. The glues he uses to build things and why. Check out the special gun he uses to mix glue.
He then showed how to build a durso. I thought hey, I know how to do this. But Brian showed a new way of making a Durso. He drilled larger holes on the side of Durso and used a Cap to adjust the air flow.
Brian took a break due to another Surprise Guest Speaker!:)

Adelaid Rhodes was there to show us how to keep our pods alive and well.

The Bod of PSAS was surprised to see Adelaid there. We swarmed around her to ask her when she was available to do a talk at BBC. So maybe in the future if we are lucky we will see more of this Lady.
Today we were learning how to keep those pods alive and transport them.
She shook the pods in a jar furiously. You could see the look on faces of people worried about the pods. She explained the pods were ok and this is how she got them out. She explained she uses a strainer, I believe 38 micron. She then rinses glass again to get pods out. She also uses Easter Grass to simulate their natural environment. She explained what she fed to keep pods alive. She explained the shelf life of phyto plankton is not very long usually. She showed other methods of feeding pods, like using certain foods and crumbling them to small pieces between your fingers.
We gots lots of Pictures of Adelaid:D . Shes cuter than you Brian.:D

Hey Scott, You got the world in your fingers.

Scott was holding Adelaids Breeding Stock. You had Millions of millions of little guys in there Scott.
What do you say we make a break for it and get some Money for toys?;)

Just think if she has a thousand little guys in this Bottle.

Brian was Back with more. Like how to remove those ugly scratches from Acrylic. How to sand them, which grades of paper, and how to Feather them out.
Which Buffing pads he uses and which products work for him.
Brian your Awesome! Thanks again for helping all of us.:)

Time for a Raffle..

You got your tickets. You know there are five Superman Denaes to be raffled, A box of 55lbs of Live Rock.
