If I insert this in my sump where the socks is currently held. What do I do with the drain hoses?

It depends what sump you have, but this would normally be more used for the type that has a drain chamber that flows into the sock area. If it's one where the plumbing goes straight into the sock, you'd probably want to get the bracket that holds the KLIR.
