I watched this documentry the other night on PBS about scuba dives in Antarctica. I was amazed , the sealife that survives under and around the continent, seemed to be just as content with the environment as the small polyp stonies of the south Pacific.
This inspired me to start a thread about cold water tanks. Is there a way to recreate this cold saltwater biotope? If I did, how would I get cold water corals and inverts? Can I slowly condition frags, inverts to frigid temps of the south pole?
The 125 and sump of mine has "skimmed" my bank accout plain. Now I'm looking at building something else? If anyone here at RF has any input on the cold water tank, inhabitants, chemistry, lighting etcetera. Post it here
