I have some bottles of meds that have been in my basement for at least a couple years, but could even be 5 years old. I wanted to check if these were still good or if they should be discarded.

SeaChem Cupramine (31995.0 was printed on the bottle similar to the way an expiration would be.

PraziPro 4 fl oz. Item #73254 (11080405 print on it)

AP Quick Cure

Mardel Maracyn-Two (says fresh water, no good for marine fish?)

I recently upgrade my display and want to get more fish in so it's time to update my med cabinet and look at the latest QT, acclimation procedures.

Not worth keeping them. Antibiotics don't have much of a shelf life, and certainly not over 3 years.

If in doubt, send an e-mail to the manufacturer and ask them for advice on the efficacy after time. They will want to know the actual time though.

Maracyn Two for Freshwater Fishes is the same antibiotic for the Salt Water fishes, but the Salt Water med contains an extra B vitamin ingredient.
