I just ran accross (and purchased) a very flat fan for anyone who is using one for cooling for their sump. The fan is about 1 ft square and only about 1" thick ( except fr the small base). It is also low voltage and because of that the motor is sealed. It produces alot of air movement and can be placed right on top of the sump. It was $20. If anyone is interested, you can pm me and I can send you a pict and model number. It also runs on batteries (power outage), 4 d's run up to 75 hours.

Be cool :)

Why not just post it here, and help EVERYONE out? I'd certainly like more information, myself.

It moves a good amount of air, I run 2x250 MH on my 75, house air set on 78 degrees, with it on top of my sump it stays around 80 all day. Being that it is a 10" dia. it colls more water surface area than the clip on fans. The box also does not list the cfm's.

I have the o2 fan, I like it a lot. It does move a whole bunch of air, and Charlie it weighs less than a lb FOR SURE. Walmart has them on sale for $15 last I checked. ** I just looked on their website and it didn't come up, so I checked Lowes its $20 there.

I have been running mine for about 3 months, and when it operates face down (I recommend placing at an angle for more air movement) It develops a vibration that sounds pretty annoying, but it still works great.

20 #'s :) they must be packing it in metal chips......It can't weight more than a pound or 2 at the VERY most. You should be able to get it at Lowes.
