i was just wondering, since i only got 2 baby onyx clowns in the fish tank do you doods think it'd be ok if i put a lemonpeel angel and a carpenter flasher wrasse in there?
the tank is a 37 gals, tons of kenya trees :p, open brain, candy cane, blue stripped mushrooms, monti cap, stylopora, rainbow monti, scroll coral, tiny bit of xenia and i believe that's about it :).
I'm not planning on doing it right now but thinking about adding the angel or the wrasse in 2 months or so from now, if it's ok.

thanks doods :D

I think you would like a good wrasse, 6 lines are very active & don't seem to be jumpers as some others will tend to do for no apparent reason in the middle of night.

Keep them small...(can keep more fish that way)

Go for a sixline...beautiful, durable, fun. (& cheap)

well i saw the lemonpeel at Barrier Reef (the lfs :p) and it was in an Elos with a few lps, zoos and sps and so i thought that it'd be kewl to have one of those.... specially since they sort of give the look of a tang :p:lol: and i got plenty of kenya trees he can eat :p.

About the wrasse, i've had six lines before, they have been one of my favorites but i was just thinking something different just for a change :p, but if you think that the tank would be to small for the fish then i guess i could always get another 6 line :) .

In my opinion the 37 gallon is just fine the way it is.

You have some decent invertebrates/corals there and you don't need or want to put more nitrates into the system. The 37 is a bit smallish for a pair of Anemonefish. Just let the ones you have grow. :) The female will get to be about 3" or so and the male about half that. That is enough fish for the 37 reef (about 33 gallons of water?), IMHO, unless your system contains over 50 gallons of water with sump, refugium, etc. :D

that's actually a mimic tang in the elos, lemon peels are some of the worst coral eaters,...dont do it!!
