My LFS just gave me a tiny red mushroom frag. It is not attached to anything. Its floating in the bag and I placed it in my sump to acclimate it to my temp. Do I just let it float around in my main tank?

what i do with my mushroom is cook them in butter and onions

ok seriously i grab the floating mushroom and a little piece of rock, then i cut a little piece of filter bag you know the ones that people use for running carbon (it can be bridal vail (you know the stuff that brides wear at church), i have also used panties)...then i put the mushroom on the rock and cover it with the piece of vail and tie it with some rubber bands so the mushroom doesn't go flying and i put the rock in a low flow area and leave it for a few weeks in there until its attached to the rock .

I built a lil cave in the corner of the tank and threw him in there with just enough lighting . he shouldnt go anyway. If this dont work I'll put him in a nylon. thanks spongebob.
