OK after many years and many different reef systems I'm going to try a True Mixed Reef fish, sps, lps, softies, clams, macro algae and a variety of cleaner crew inverts. I really want to have a very natural look to system so a SSB with a little crushed coral rubble mixed in. About a 100# of live rock most at least 10+ yrs in my tanks. Hopefully after grow-out (2+ yrs) LR will be completely overgrown and absolutely no frag plugs of any kind to be seen.

The Set-up: 75g SeaClear System II with modified plumbing (40g sump/fuge added) the stock spray bar is ideal in theory but lacks the power to very effective so by incorporating it into the return flow from external sump pump (Iwaki WMD-30RLXT 900+- gph) of the 40g sump aprox 4/5 is a fuge and have max amount of volume by using a HOB skimmer (Eshopps) in first chamber of System II (overflow box) the water then is filtered through 2 layers of poly pad on the drip tray which I keep a carbon bag in between. Dual 1" bulkhead outlets down to sump terminating in a DIY spraybar to disperse water evenly across fuge algaes. I have about an inch of 'Miracle Mud' with a bit of crushed coral mixed in. Chaeto, Caulerpa mexicana & grape, Halimeda and several other macro species. Additional flow provided by 2 Hydor K-3's.

Lighting: main is 440watts of 48" VHO (3 super actinic / 1 actinic white)
Dawn/dusk is a std 36" 30w T12 in 20K and for now about 3-4 w of blue LED for night lighting.

FTS from 12-23-09 to 4-6-10

Here is some FTS pics showing changes in aquascape since setting this tank up @ X-mas 09. Nothing huge but always changing especially after trading - Bob Moore swap and after hour sales.

Thanks guys, though I now wish I had a much better camera. Maybe Adam, Dang or Brie would like to do a remote shoot for me.
