I have an opportunity to buy a CA reactor for $150.

6.5

I am wondering if this is too advanced for me at this stage or would it be a good investment? Working on building a 55 gallon tank. Getting a sweet deal on t5 lights, circulation pump and wave maker.

I might have to sell my old dog to get it. :decision:

Thank you

I heard they are only for the extreme coral tanks more or less.

I heard that they are not good for noobs cause they can be really sensitive and hard to use.

also heard if a noob to reefing try kalk drip and some additives..

but i don't know diddly doo. so maybe dont listen to me..

I was running calcium reactor at one time. depends on your type of coral. SPS tank is a must. LPS is somewhat. the link you provide that reactor is way too much capacity for your 55g. IMO If I have 55g I will dose instead....just saying

Calcium reactors can be very helpful but they can be a little tricky to maintain.
